Not the “Teacher of Righteousness”.

The Author of 1QH.

Among the most important questions which have occupied the efforts of the Dead Sea Scrolls researchers over the past 70 years are:

1) the historical identity of the Teacher of Righteousness; and,

2) the authorship of the Thanksgiving Hymns (1QH) of the Dead Sea Scrolls.

The majority position being, if my memory serves me correctly, that the Teacher of Righteousness was both the founder of the Qumran community and the author of the Thanksgiving Hymns.

With regards to which, however, there are two principal problems:

1) The term “Righteousness” is associated with the First Phase of the War of the Sons of Light; that is, the Revelation of the Law; whereas the terminology of the Thanksgiving Hymns is focused not so much on righteousness and wickedness, as upon Light and Darkness, similar to the Scroll of the War of Sons of Light and the Sons of Darkness; and,

2) The Thanksgiving Hymns of the Dead Sea Scrolls have been radio-carbon dated to between 25 B.C. and 65 A.D.; whereas the Qumran community was founded approximately 150 years earlier.

Conclusion: the historical Teacher of Righteousness could not have been the author of 1QH.

And, that being the case, who was the author of 1QH?

Briefly, the author of 1QH was someone who had received both the Vision of the “Son of man” (referred to as the “Vision of Knowledge”), as well as the Revelation of “the resurrection” and the Revelation of the memories of previous lives (referred to as “the Way of Thy heart”); and, just as importantly, was known and hated by the Jewish religious establishment in Jerusalem.

Thus, it is certain that, while not the Teacher of Righteousness, Jesus was, just as certainly, the author of 1QH...

A conclusion which, however, is of NO interest to the “dragon” media because the Knowledge conveyed in the Thanksgiving Hymns is a specific and flagrant contradiction of the lies and nonsense of Christian metaphysical theology.
