I really think you need to read what Admiral Hyman Rickover had to say about “Responsibility”:
“Responsibility is a unique concept. It can only reside and inhere in a single individual. You may share it with others, but your portion is not diminished. You may delegate it, but it is still with you. You may disclaim it, but you cannot divest yourself of it. Even if you do not recognize it or admit its presence, you cannot escape it. If responsibility is rightfully yours, no evasion, or ignorance, or passing the blame can shift that burden to someone else. Unless you can point your finger at the man responsible when something goes wrong, then you have never had anyone really responsible.”
Trump is not merely a “symbol”.

Thus, he is responsible for the actions of those he has hired to advise him.

I had my account on Twitter back in 2016-2018, I sent probably dozens
of
messages to the Trump campaign and to Trump himself; and, then, to the Trump administration on how to destroy
the ideological foundations of Islamic terrorism.
Not
only that.
I
directly
contacted
the Trump administration when I applied for a job involved in its “counter-terrorism” efforts.
Read
again
how Admiral Hyman Rickover defines “responsibility”.
Candidate
