On the Manifold* Seductions
of Rabbinic Evil

Then Elijah approached all the people and said ‘How long will you hop on one foot, then on the other? If the Lord is God, then follow Him! But if Baal is God, then follow him!’

I Kings 18:21

Some two thousand years ago, the Jewish priesthood in Jerusalem was divided into two warring factions: the knuckle-dragging Sadducees (corresponding to the Zionist rabbis of today), whose principal focus of concern was on the Temple, the sacrifices, and the observable and ritual aspects of the Law; and the Pharisees (corresponding to the anti-Zionist rabbis of today), who were much more ‘intellectual’ and committed to the writing of commentaries on the Torah; which then became a part of the Jewish religious tradition in the mishna, the gemara and the talmud.

The Sadducees were of the view that the Torah was the complete Revelation, to which “not one word” should be added (for example, anything about the physical raising of a dead body from the grave, which is to be found nowhere in the Torah); on which basis they simply disregarded the Revelations contained in the Prophets (especially, of course, the condemnations of the Jewish priesthood and all references to “the resurrection” ); whereas the Pharisees acknowledged the Prophets and were of the view that the Law must be interpreted and explained by the rabbis.

Meanwhile, the writings discovered at Qumran clearly demonstrate that there was also a Sadduceean faction to the ‘right’ of the Sadducees in Jerusalem—which accused the Sadducees in Jerusalem of having, in fact, corrupted the Law for political considerations (see, for example, 4QMMT); as well as another faction, to the ‘left’ of the Pharisees in Jerusalem, whose focus was not on the Jewish religious traditions; but, rather, on the the actual Revelations received by the prophets; in particular, the Knowledge Revealed through the Vision of the “Son of man” and the Revelation of “the resurrection” (see, for example, 1QH and 1QM).

So, what about the rabbis of today?

Most of them are knuckle-dragging Zionists; for example, those who are associated in any way with the Sadduceean Temple Institute.

While comparatively few of them are anti-Zionist Pharisees.

And, then, there are others who are particularly clever, particularly seductive, and particularly evil; ‘hopping first on one foot, then on the other’.

In other words, on some days they are “good little Sadducees”; see, for example:

And, on other days, they are “good little Pharisees; see, for example:

In other words, on the days when Tovia Singer is a “good little Pharisee”—affirming the doctrine of the physical raising of a dead body from the grave, he apparently forgets what he has said on the days when he is a “good little Sadducee”—insisting that “not one word” should be added to the Torah.

Thus, the choice of the rabbis of today is not between the God of Israel, the God of the living, and Baal, as it was at the time of Elijah; but, rather, between the Sadduceean-Zionist perversion of the Revelations and the Pharisaical-anti-Zionist perversion of the Revelations...

With other rabbisTovia Singer, for exampledeciding, most probably for marketing reasons and job security, to propagate BOTH the Sadduceean and Pharisaical (but not anti-Zionist) perversions of the Revelations.
