Murderers of Truth
& the
Fascination With Evil

As previously observed by J. Krishnamurti, division, duality, conflict and violence are intrinsic to the structure of thought itself.

Thus, one of the fundamental illusions of the consciousness of the ‘thinker’—an illusion created (without conscious intent) by the mechanism of thought itself—is the separation of a problem, from the solution to that problem; the assumption being that only an exhaustive analysis of a problem, only an exhaustive and relentless division and re-division of a problem into myriads upon myriads of its smaller and smaller individual components, will ever result in a solution to that problem.

On the contrary.

Drawing a circle instantly divides space into the space inside the circle and the space outside the circle; both of which are necessary for the circle to be seen at all.

Similarly, seeing a problem is, simultaneously, seeing the solution to that problem.

And, if the solution to a problem is not seen simultaneously with seeing the problem, then the problem is not really being seen (or defined) at all.

Encountering a poisonous snake on the garden path—which, of course, is a problem—does not require any analysis, any activity of a ‘thinker’, any ‘breaking of the snake down into its component parts’ in order to find a solution to that problem.

Merely to see the snake is to see that the solution to that problem is to put distance between oneself and the snake.

And, if that solution is not immediately obvious, it can mean only one thing: the snake is not really being seen at all...

Which, of course, is dangerous.

And so it has been over the past few years with regards to the myriads of futile and fruitless attempts to solve the problem of Islamic terrorism.

How many thousands of comments have been made by politicians, how many tens of thousands of articles have been written in the media and by the religion newswriters, how many thousands of books have been sold, how many dozens of ‘countering or preventing violent extremism’ conferences have there been in an effort to define and analyze the problem of Islamic terrorism; for the purpose of, purportedly, arriving at a solution to that problem?

Yet, what has been the result?

That problem has not yet even been seen.

Why?

Because it has not immediately been understood that the solution to the problem of Islamic terrorism is the destruction of the metaphysical doctrines of Islamic theology (by the Truth).

On the contrary, people have become fascinated with the analysis, fascinated with evil itself; fascinated with the illusion, derived from thought, that they are actually ‘on the right track’; that, eventually, the relentless pursuit of analysis will miraculously result in a solution; when, in fact, they are still blind to the problem.

So, why do they persist in such fruitless and futile analyses?

For the purpose of blinding themselves to the solution.

Because, to really see the problem—which is also to see the solution to the problem—would be the end of analysis.

Which, for many of them, would also be the end of their employment.

Thus, the problem—and its solution—is either seen or it is not seen...

The much larger problem being that too many people make too much money by not seeing either the problem or the solution.

They are the NOTsees—sometimes spelled Nazis—of either the problem or the solution.

They are fascinated with analysis and evil.

They are the murderers of Truth.
