A ‘Michelson-Morley Experiment’
For the Monotheistic Theologies

The results of the Michelson-Morley experiment could not simply be ignored by the physicists at the time; nor by the physicists at any time, for that matter.

On the contrary, the belief of any particular physicist that classical physics is a complete description of the physical reality can survive only until he or she has been informed of those results.

But it was not until almost two decades later that Albert Einstein, in his Special Theory of Relativity, provided a satisfactory explanation of the consequences of the Michelson-Morley experiment.

And, while evidence for the reality of previous lives is not in any way an ‘experiment’—and, thus, there cannot possibly be any errors in the ‘experimental design’ that results in such evidence:

—the reality of those memories performs essentially the same
function for the monotheistic theologies as the Michelson-Morley experiment did for classical physics.

Only worse.

In other words, while the equations of classical physics remain essentially unthreatened and unchanged after the Michelson-Morley experiment, the reality of previous lives completely obliterates the monotheistic doctrine of an after-death metaphysical existence of rewards and punishments; which, simultaneously, obliterates, for example, the Pharisaical interpretation of the Doctrine of “the resurrection”, the Christian doctrine of ‘vicarious atonement’ and the ‘Rapture’, as well as the Muslim doctrine of the ‘houris’.

Now, if the world’s physicists had been as viciously contemptuous of the results of the Michelson-Morley experiment as the monotheistic theologians have been to the reality of the memories of previous lives, it is highly unlikely that the atomic bomb would ever have been invented; which, of course, would have been a good thing.

But, on the other hand, the monotheistic theologians’ vicious denial of the reality of previous lives has resulted in the concoction of any number of theological doctrines which only incite division, hatred, conflict and violence between Jews, Christians and Muslims; which, thus, have made the use of those weapons much more likely.
