Conflicts North and South,
East and West

The conflict between the “king of the South” and the “king of the North” Prophesied in Chapter 11, verses 40-45 of the Book of Daniel refers to the conflict between, respectively, the United States and its allies and Russia and its allies.

Esoterically, however, it signifies the conflict between the two dimensions of the ‘fallen’ consciousness; respectively (and roughly), the consciousness of the ‘thinker’ and the consciousness of the “self”; or, more accurately, a delusional (in terms of the creation of positive, ‘fullness’, or ‘expanding’ images) consciousness of the ‘thinker’ and a delusional (in terms of the creation of negative, ‘emptiness’, or ‘collapsing’ images) consciousness of the “self”.

The conflict between the “king of the South” and the “king of the North” is, then, a conflict within Western civilization, representing a conflict within the dualistic, ‘fallen’ consciousness; whereas, in terms of the symbolism, the “kings of the East” (Chapter 11, verse 44 of the Book of Daniel and Chapter 16, verse 12 of the Revelation of John) represents the moderating influence of the non-dualistic consciousness (including the revelation of the memories of previous lives).

In terms of religious doctrine, then, the conflict between the West and East can be summarized as the conflict between the florid delusion of a metaphysical existence of rewards and punishments and the reality of previous lives.

And, in terms of its manifestation in the space-time reality, the diplomatic, political, economic and military intervention of the “kings of the East” can be—but not necessarily will be—a moderating influence on the conflict between the “king of the South” and the “king of the North”.

In other words, the conflict between the “king of the South” and the “king of the North” threatens the very annihilation of human civilization itself...

Especially absent the involvement of the “kings of the East”:
