Why Do People Believe
False Prophets?

To say that the “false prophet” of Chapter 16, verse 13 of the Revelation of John represents the monotheistic religious establishment, and demonstrates the direct and incontrovertible complicity of the Jewish, Christian and Muslim religious ‘authorities’ in bringing about the horrors of Armageddon, does not really solve any problem. All it does is reveal a series of much more fundamental questions:

Why do people even believe the Jewish, Christian and Muslim religious ‘authorities’—or, for example, Pope Francis, or Chief Rabbi David Lau—in the first place?

Why have millions of Jews, and hundreds of millions of Christians and Muslims, been hypnotized and mesmerized into believing whatever is said by their religious ‘authorities’...and, moreover, regardless of the consequences?

Why do they meekly, and without any questioning whatsoever, simply accept what they have been told by these religious ‘authorities’; as if every single one of them speaks with the Voice of God Himself, as if everything thing they say has ‘come down from Mt. Sinai’?

As I understand it, there are three principal motivations for why people believe the lies of the “false prophet” religious ‘authorities’: arrogance, cowardice and laziness.

1) Arrogance:

It is a serious affront to an individual’s pride—it is painful to the consciousness of the “self”—to be told that one has believed a lie; to be told that one has been hoodwinked into giving their money, sometimes a significant amount of money over several years, to someone who has lied about the Revelations. (Or, as Mark Twain said, “It is easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.”)

Such a realization—that one is not nearly as intelligent as had been assumed—shatters the image that the “self” has created of itself (which is one of the meanings of the term “image of the beast”, found in Chapter 13, verse 14 of the Revelation of John—“the beast” being, of course, the consciousness of the “self”). And so, instead of tolerating the pain of acknowledging the Truth; the “self” chooses, instead, to adhere ever more tenaciously to the lie out of the desire for not merely pleasure; but, also, self-preservation.

2) Cowardice:

The unwillingness to question what a person has been told by their religious (political, media, or medical) ‘authorities’ originates in fear; not the fear of the unknown; but the fear of the loss of the known; not the fear of suffering; but the fear of the loss of pleasure. And, while it is quite normal for young people to be motivated by such fears, the perpetuation of those fears into adulthood morphs into nothing less than cowardice. In other words, such people are motivated exclusively by the desire for pleasure rather than the desire for Truth; and,

3) Laziness (or sloth):

Apparently, too much energy is required to question what a person has been told by his or her religious authorities’. After all, it is so much easier simply to believe what a person has been told than to face the fact—or the ‘complication’—that the answer that a person has been given may very well not be the Truth.

It is so much easier to be unconscious than it is to be conscious.

It is so much easier to turn to music, or sports, or theology, or literature, or video games, or Prophecy porn, or movies, or sex (and not in an immoral way)—or any distractionthan it is to simply accept the responsibility of paying attention to whether what a person has been told by the religious ‘authorities’ about the Creator is, in fact, the Truth or not.

But it is precisely this arrogance, cowardice and laziness by the monotheistic religious ‘authorities’ and their millions and hundreds of millions of haplessly gullible followers that are pushing this civilization into the “time of trouble”:

In other words, probably the most appropriate epitaph on the grave of this civilization would be:

They Never Questioned What They Were Told...

Until, that is, they encountered someone who told them the Truth.

At which point there was NO END to their attempts to evade that Truth with questions.
